Government notifies updated seed certification labelling requirements

The Ministry has issued a notification updating the labelling and traceability requirements for certified seed lots sold through retail dealers. The new requirements take effect from the next planting season and apply to all certified seed sold in sealed packages.

Dealers are advised to verify the certification label, lot number and validity date at the time of procurement. AIDA will circulate a detailed advisory and a dealer checklist to all members through the resources section.
